Visit to the Interpretation Center of the Geopark and Natural Park

All the details about the surroundings of Montserrat

Visit the Interpretation Center of the Geopark and Natural Park and discover a space full of history of the characteristic mountain of Montserrat, as well as its climatic conditions and the variety of native flora and fauna.

This visit is divided into two parts:

• A more historical one, where the characteristics of the nature of the mountain of Montserrat are explained
  An interesting exhibition on the elements that make up the "Central Catalonia Geopark"

Once you arrive at the exhibition, you can visit the Sant Joan viewpoint, from where you will enjoy impressive views at more than 1,000 m above sea level.

LOCATION: Sant Joan viewpoint, on the top floor of the Sant Joan funicular station.

TIMETABLES: The opening hours are the same as the operating hours of the Sant Joan funicular.

To round off the experience, we suggest you go up the Montserrat Rack Railway and visit the grounds of the Montserrat Mountain Sanctuary.
