Timetables

The Montserrat Rack Railway runs uninterrupted throughout the year.

The Sant Joan Funicular runs uninterrupted throughout the year except from 13 to 31 January 2025 when it is out of service for an annual overhaul.

The Santa Cova Funicular will remain out of service for maintenance work until further notice.

The T-Mobilitat is not valid for traveling with the Montserrat Cable Car and Funiculars as they are not part of the ATM's integrated transport network. A specific ticket must be purchased at the Cremallera and/or funicular station or through the online store.

Montserrat up close

Montserrat is renowned for its singular morphology: its rounded peaks, known as “needles”, are the most iconic and spectacular of the mountain’s characteristics.

The Geopark Visitor Centre is located at the scenic overlook of Mirador de Sant Joan, alongside the upper station of the funicular railway of the same name. Here, visitors can find out about Montserrat’s geological characteristics, as well as the mountain’s climate and diverse native flora and fauna.
