Next Tuesday, November 12, the Montserrat Rack Railway service will be affected during the afternoon due to the realization of an accident drill.
The morning schedule will remain unchanged, but the last circulations before the drill will be at 3:15 p.m., both up and down:
- 3:15 pm: Upward service from Monistrol-Vila to Montserrat
- 3:15 pm: Descending service from Montserrat-Monistrol-Vila-Monistrol de Montserrat (link with R5).
During the afternoon, between 3:15 pm and 6:15 pm, the Rack Railway will be out of service.
Those people who want to go up or down from Montserrat in this time slot can do so with Aeri de Montserrat, which will be in service until 6:00 p.m.
Once the drill is over, there will be two descents from Montserrat at 6:15pm and 6:35pm.
Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) apologizes for the inconvenience caused and recalls that this drill is necessary to guarantee the safety of users and the correct action of the emergency teams in the event of a real incident.
