The Montserrat Funiculars, which allow visitors to access some of the most emblematic points of the mountain, such as the Sant Joan viewpoint and the Santa Cova, will remain out of service for a few weeks to carry out annual inspection and maintenance work.

The Sant Joan Funicular will be out of service from Monday 13 to Friday 31 January.

For its part, the Santa Cova Funicular will offer service on weekends in January, but will be closed from Monday to Friday, from 7 to 31 January. During the month of February, it will be out of service for the entire month, except for the weekends of February 1st and 2nd and February 22nd and 23rd, when it will be operational.

These temporary service interruptions will ensure the safety and proper functioning of the funiculars, ensuring an optimal experience for visitors to Montserrat.

During this period, the Montserrat Rack Railway will continue to operate normally, offering an alternative way to access the Monastery and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountain.
