The route starts and ends in La Pobla de Segur, right next to the Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) railway station. The route follows the route along the edge of the train track in a southerly direction and through the Sant Antoni reservoir, we will pass by the beautiful medieval village of Salàs de Pallars, famous for the route-museum of the old shops going up in the direction of Santa Engràcia, a village hanging on a cliff with spectacular views of the Sant Antoni reservoir and the whole of Pallars.

From Santa Engràcia the descent begins until we reach the C-13 road, which we will cross to pass under the village of Talarn and which will take us to Tremp. Leaving the capital of Pallars Jussà we will cross the road bridge over the river Noguera Pallaresa and then we will cross the canal by a bridge to start a long ascent but without too much difficulty by a track path, at the end of the climb we can enjoy beautiful views over the reservoir of Sant Antoni and the Pyrenees plus Pallarès.
The descent begins to reach the village of Aramunt, we will cross it and continue along the edge of the swamp with exceptional landscapes, we will reach the Xiringuito where they can make a short stop for refreshments. We will continue along the road until we reach the new bridge of Claverol, which crosses the river Noguera Pallaresa to reach Pobla de Segur again and make the return by train or, stay a few days to finish discovering the Pallars.

This path is the alternative to the descent road from Santa Engràcia and that joins at the end with the main one of the C13.

The Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) railway station in La Pobla de Segur offers a special reception point for cyclists. Lockers and luggage storage are available in this space, bicycles can be stored in a locked space, there is a car garage service, showers, toilets, a tourist office, route information, gps, and much more. month.
