A cement factory declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest

We offer you a journey through time while visiting the Museu del Ciment de Castellar de n’Hug, where you will find all kinds of cultural and very entertaining proposals for all audiences: permanent exhibitions and itineraries, guided tours, theatrical tours, workshops…

The current museum building was the old cement factory, which was in operation from 1904 to 1975. It is one of the most incredible factory buildings in Catalan industrialization, surrounded by a unique natural space... In fact, the factory and its surroundings were declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest.

The ensemble is currently part of the Museu Nacional de la Ciència i la Tècnica de Catalunya (MNACTEC).
