The river’s source at Fonts del Llobregat, located at an altitude of 1,295 metres above sea level, is a must-visit destination, particularly when the falls are in full flow. The water that springs from the limestone rock comes from rain and snow, which accumulates high up in the mountains during winter. The river eventually makes its way to the Mediterranean Sea, where it forms the Llobregat delta.
