On the occasion of the Funfira, the Gelida Funicular will be free and will run every 15 minutes
On November 12 and 13, 2022, the Funfira will be held in the town of Gelida. A fair that has taken place every year since 2010 to commemorate the anniversary of the Gelida Funicular, a sustainable means of transport that has been running for almost 100 years.
The Gelida Funicular, on the occasion of the fair, will be free for all visitors and will run every 15 minutes, thus extending its schedule. On Saturday the 12th, the first departure will be at 10am, and the last trip will be at 9pm. On Sunday, it will run from 10am to 8pm. During these weekends there will be activities for all audiences, exhibitions, paddle tournaments and even gastronomic tasting. As part of the wide range of activities, the Gelida City Council is carrying out two revitalizations at the Funicular: the Funicular Theater and the Big Band concert of the Gelida Municipal School of Music
