Timetables

The Montserrat Rack Railway runs uninterrupted throughout the year.

The Sant Joan Funicular runs uninterrupted throughout the year except from 08 to 26 January 2024 when it is out of service for an annual overhaul.

The Santa Cova Funicular runs continuously throughout the year except on working days (non-holidays) from 04 to 29 November and from 02 to 20 December when it is out of service.

    The T-Mobilitat is not valid for traveling with the Montserrat Cable Car and Funiculars as they are not part of the ATM's integrated transport network. A specific ticket must be purchased at the Cremallera and/or funicular station or through the online store.

    Montserrat up close

    Montserrat is renowned for its singular morphology: its rounded peaks, known as “needles”, are the most iconic and spectacular of the mountain’s characteristics.

    The Geopark Visitor Centre is located at the scenic overlook of Mirador de Sant Joan, alongside the upper station of the funicular railway of the same name. Here, visitors can find out about Montserrat’s geological characteristics, as well as the mountain’s climate and diverse native flora and fauna.
